About the scrub

What is a hammam scrub?

After warming up in the hammam, dead skin is gently removed with a traditional kese mitt, then you are washed with rich soap foam. It is the best-known ritual of the Turkish bath.

How long does it take?

About 45 minutes on its own, or about 30 minutes added to a massage.

Is the scrub done before the massage?

Yes. Scrub and foam come first, then the massage; it's more enjoyable on warm, freshly cleansed skin.

How often should I have a scrub?

Once or twice a month is enough for most people. For sensitive skin we suggest longer gaps.
